Dislocations
A dislocation is a separation of two bones where they meet at a joint. Joints are areas where two bones come together. A dislocated bone is no longer in its normal position.
This happens as a result of an acute injury. Pain, swelling over the joint and twisting or abnormal appearance of the joint are the main symptoms.
Sometimes this condition is described as “joint or bone popping out” of the socket.
This condition requires emergent medical attention and treatment.
