Ganglion cysts and tumors of the hand and wrist
Ganglion cysts and tumors of the hand and wrist are lumps and bumps that appear in the hand, wrist, forearm or elbow. Some of them may be connected to the joint and may lead to infection if not treated in a timely fashion.
Some may appear due to injury, others have a sudden onset without trauma.
Depending on the nature of the cyst, the treatment could be observation, needle aspiration or surgery.
